Peddle Steal

Album Artwork

Peddle Steal first got together while writing and recording the album How We Hunger. The album was written in the winter of 2012 and recorded in a 17th century barn in West Newfield, Maine in the spring of 2012. How We Hunger recounts the story of forbidden love in a dying mill town in Maine. The members of Peddle Steal are James Welsch, Anna Patterson, Jess Greer, Charlie Sichterman, and Dave Patterson. This band plays vinyl-era country music.

Praise for How We Hunger:

It’s not the harmonies or phrasing that indicate the inspiration behind this work, it’s the album as a whole that shows Dave let his inspiration barrel down a track with the power of a freight train.
